One of the most iconic films in horror is The Shining. It is one of my all-time favorite movies. I chose to paint this scene due to the monumental downfall it means to Jack and his family. There are so many iconic moments in The Shining, down to the blood elevator, the lady in the bathtub, the twins, "here's Johnny!", the hedge maze, etc.. 

I painted this because it depicted the fall of a man who succumbs to his addiction, and in turn a horrible chain of events happens (to say the absolute least!)
